The procedure: What to expect
The pectoral implant surgery is done under general anesthesia. As such, you will be completely asleep to ensure your comfort and safety. The entire procedure takes between one and two hours to complete. To begin, Dr. Fenner will create discreet incisions in each armpit. He will then form a pocket beneath the pectoral muscles to accommodate the implants.
From there, Dr. Fenner will place the implants, check them for symmetry and appearance, and close the incisions. Depending on your needs, he will also perform precise liposuction to contour the area and ensure that your aesthetic vision is realized. A compression garment will be applied at the end of the surgery to support your new chest contours.
