The Sculptra procedure: What to expect during your appointment

Your Sculptra treatments will take place in our private medical spa. While you sit comfortably in a reclining chair, we will administer the Sculptra deep beneath the skin. Once in place, it will stimulate your body’s natural production of collagen over time.

There is no downtime associated with Sculptra. As such, you will be free to return to work and your normal daily routine immediately. Most of Dr. Fenner’s patients require three to four sessions spaced three weeks apart to achieve their optimal results.

After your injections

Sculptra results appear gradually. You can expect to notice a visible improvement in your appearance due to the increased collagen within a couple of weeks, though your results won’t be considered final until a few months later. In general, you can expect your reduction in facial wrinkles and folds to last for about two years.

Sculptra is safe and FDA-approved. It is composed of poly-L-lactic acid, which is a synthetic material that has been used safely for years in dissolvable sutures.
